DIRECTOR, COACH & MENTOR
Mr. Binion serves as a Coach and Mentor for entrepreneurs at the Tampa Bay Innovation Center based in Pinellas County, Florida. The Innovation Center provides a broad range of services to early-stage technology firms including business coaching, office space, introduction to investors and networking.
Tom is a partner in the residential real estate development firm Forbin Partners. He began the firm as a startup in 2005. The firm now owns several tracts of land in Milledgeville, Georgia, including the final stage development, Dovefield at Lake Sinclair. It also owns and leases three buildings in downtown Milledgeville, Ga.
Tom is also a partner in the real estate development firm, Quail Hollow Land, LLC. This firm owns a tract of land along the Chattahoochee River in North Fulton County, Georgia.
Before launching Forbin Partners, Tom spent much of his career in executive management positions in both healthcare and financial services. Most recently he served as President and Chief Operating officer of Transcend Services, a provider of technology based transcription services for hospitals and large physician groups. He was responsible for Sales and Marketing, Operations, Account Management, Recruiting and Information Technology.
Prior to that, Tom served as the Vice President, Radiology Operations for Per-Se Technologies where he managed 1600 employees and more than $100 million in revenue through 96 offices nationwide. He also held executive management positions in operations for financial services companies Allmerica Financial based in Worchester, Ma and Life of Georgia based in Atlanta, Ga.
